Every year, a new church launches and out of nowhere has like 1,000 members.
And your wondering... where did they come from? And how did they do it? I'll tell you how...
Secret #1: Organizing For Growth Doesn't Require A Big Budget
Organizing for growth doesn't mean you have to hire staff. You can run a solid organization with volunteers. What you need more than money is clarity. Clarity of your vision and mission.
Secret #2: You Don't Need More Time....
Too many Pastors spend their time putting out fires, responding to needs. Instead, spend some more time developing the teams that can help you put out the fires and serve the needs of your congregation and community.
Secret #3: Grow at your Capacity
If you grow too quickly you’ll have resource issues, not enough staff to meet the needs, not enough money to keep up with the vision. See your budget as God's boundaries, meaning if it's not in your budget then don't do it.
These are three secrets every Pastor should know. Unfortunately, you won't learn this in seminary. “It’s not your fault! You just didn’t know, and that’s what’s been holding you back until now!”
